Walter Swenstad -- Love you, Dad!

 

Walter Swenstad - October 2012

Walter Swenstad was born on October 23rd, 1930. He was the youngest of four boys, born to Theodore Swenstad and Dena Pederson Swenstad.

He grew up on a farm in west central Minnesota, graduated from Benson High School in 1948, and served in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953.

He married Darlene Brostrom in April, 1955.
 

They had four children, of which I'm the oldest.

 



Dad passed away quietly on Saturday, November 17th, 2012.  He joined Mom who died in 1997.

 

I picture them waltzing in heaven now.  Hope they have a few good polka bands up there!!
